1. JOB PURPOSE
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the precast production crew to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of precast elements in compliance with production schedules, standards, and safety regulations.
2. LIST OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise all stages of precast element production: Mold preparation, reinforcement, casting, curing, demoulding, finishing.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
• Monitor and control raw material usage and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with for inspections, repair instructions, and product approvals.
• Ensure proper upkeep and usage of production equipment and Molds.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with HSE standards.
• Train, guide, and evaluate production workers and leadmen.
• Maintain daily production records and report to Production Manager.
• Coordinate with maintenance for any equipment issues or downtime.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies.

* Technical Skills:
1.Precast Knowledge
- Understanding of precast elements: slabs, beams, columns, panels, stairs, etc.
- Familiarity with wet and dry cast production methods.
- Knowledge of GRC, GRP, or prestressed elements (if applicable).
2.Mold & Formwork Handling
- Ability to inspect, assemble, and manage various types of steel or fiberglass Molds.
- Knowledge of Mold maintenance and lifecycle management.
3.Reinforcement & Pre-Stressing
- Reading rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS).
- Overseeing proper placement, tying, and fixing of reinforcement.
- Experience in post-tensioning and prestressed concrete processes (if applicable).
4.Concrete Technology
- Mix design basics and understanding of concrete grades.
- Slump testing, curing techniques, and finishing methods.
- Managing admixtures and additives based on climate or element type.
5.Production Planning
- Interpreting production schedules and daily planning.
- Tracking output vs. targets and reporting delays or bottlenecks.
6.Quality Control Coordination
- Identifying surface defects (e.g. honeycombing, cracks, deformities).
- Assisting with concrete testing (compressive strength, cube testing).
- Compliance with I standards.
7.Equipment & Material Management
- Safe operation and monitoring of production machinery (mixers, casting beds, cranes).
- Managing raw materials inventory and coordination with procurement.
8.Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforcing PPE usage, machine safety protocols, and housekeeping.
- Reporting near-misses and accidents per company HSE procedures.
9.Drawing Interpretation
- Ability to read and interpret structural and production drawings.
- Understanding tolerance levels, dimensions, and embedded details.
10.Reporting & Doentation
- Daily production log preparation.
- NCR handling and coordination with and maintenance departments.
