Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement Officer / Purchaser to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing construction materials, tools, and equipment at competitive prices, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials and services required for construction projects.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase orders.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site staff to fulfill material requirements.
Monitor market trends and identify potential suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Regular site visits to assess and deliver materials (Manual driving license required).
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar procureme role in the UAE construction industry.
Valid UAE manual driving license – compulsory.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good knowledge of construction materials and local supplier networks.
Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software is a plus.
