Key Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Sanding, filling, and priming MDF wood structures to achieve a flawless, high-end finish for exhibition stands.
Expert Color Matching: Manually mixing paints to accurately match physical samples and specific RAL or Pantone color codes.
Versatile Application: Applying various finishes, including water-based paints and powder coatings, ensuring even coverage and durability.
Quality Control: Verifying that the final color and texture match the client's approved sample under different lighting conditions.
Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, brushes, and mixing equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
Requirements & Skills
Experience: Proven experience in painting for exhibitions, events, or high-end cabinetry.
Material Knowledge: Deep familiarity with MDF wood behavior and the appropriate prime required.
Technical Proficiency: * Expertise in water-based paint systems.
Knowledge of powder coating processes.
Ability to read and interpret color codes (RAL/Pantone).
Detail Oriented: Ability to spot minor imperfections and ensure a "mirror-smooth" finish.
Efficiency: Capable of meeting tight deadlines common in the events industry without compromising quality.
