We have an immediate opening for a Project Cost Control Head based in Gujarat, India
Job Purpose
To lead all cost control functions on construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting. The Construction Project Cost Control Lead will support the project team in delivering the project within budget while identifying cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.

Project Control
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost control procedures, systems, and tools tailored for construction projects.
- Set up and maintain the project cost baseline, including budget allocation based on Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Monitor actual costs against the budget, analyze variances, and report deviations to project leadership.
- Prepare regular cost performance reports (week forecasts to complete (ETC) and estimates at completion (EAC).
- Work with procurement, contracts, and engineering teams to validate vendor invoices and track committed costs.
- Coordinate with the planni team to align cost data with the construction schedule (e.g., earned value management).
- Evaluate project changes and variations to assess cost impact and maintain change control logs.
- Support risk analysis and contingency planning with cost implications.
- Participate in progress meetings and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Mentor junior cost control engineers and ensure compliance with internal and client reporting standards.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
- Communication Skill - High
- Excellent knowledge of coordinating between Cost - Time - Quality, Give inputs b time to contract admin team.
- Takes Ownership of producing relevant MIS @ frequent intervals suggested by management.
- Knowledge and experience into contractor billing and rate negotiation
- Computer Skills - [Excel, Word & Power point presentation MS Projects and Primavera
- Technical field skills - Capabilities to estimate time and resource requirements.
- Decision making - Out of box thinking.
- Fast Track planning in every single stage
Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)
- B.E-Civil / MBA Program management course with 25 years' experience in Project planning & Control management.
