The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the complete procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices and payment terms, coordinating with Reception to issue Purchase Orders, and mana deliveries.
The role will involve sourcing materials commonly required for event production, scenic fabrication, exhibitions, stage sets, and temporary structures, including timber, plywo, steel, aluminum, acrylic, fabrics, paints, hardware, electrical materials, printing materials, tools, consumables, rental equipment, and other project-specific requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project, Design, Production, Workshop, Logistics, Accounts, and Management teams to ensure materials and services are secured at competitive prices and delivered according to project deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
1. Preferably Indian national
2. Preferred age range: 30–45 years old
3. Has Own Car and Valid UAE Driving License is highly preferred
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5. Minimum 5 years of purchasi experience, preferably in the UAE
6. Experience in event scenic production, exhibitions, fabrication, fit-out, interiors, or construction is highly preferred
7. Strong knowledge of the UAE supplier and materials market
8. Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with Suppliers, Project Managers, Design, Production, Workshop, Logistics, Accounts and Management
9. Strong sourcing, price negotiation, cost comparison, and supplier-management skills
10. Able to handle multiple purchasing requirements and urgent project demands in a fast-paced environment
11. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and purchasi systems
12. Good command of written and spoken English
