A Reservation Agent is responsible for handling booking inquiries, processing reservations, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for guests. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple booking systems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
•Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms
•Accurately enter booking details into the reservation system
•Provide information about room availability, rates, packages, and hotel services
•Upsell rooms and promote special offers to maximize revenue
•Modify or cancel reservations as requested by guests
•Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, and sales departments
•Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments
•Resolve guest inquiries and complaints professionally
•Prepare daily reservation reports for management
