The Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment by implementing HSE policies, identifying workplace hazards, conducting inspections, and ensuring that employees follow established safety procedures. The role plays a key part in preventing accidents, reducing risks, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, HSE, Engineering, or a related field.
NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
First A and Fire Safety training is an advantage.
Previous experience in H is preferred.
Strong knowledge of risk assessment, PPE, incident investigation, and emergency procedures.
Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in different working environments.
