Sales Engineer – Chemical (Water Treatment)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer – Chemical to join our team, specializing in water treatment solutions for the food and beverage sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing technical expertise to ensure our solutions meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identifying and establishing new business opportunities.
• Organizing sales visits to potential and existing clients.
• Liaising with existing clients to maintain strong relationships.
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements to provide tailored solutions.
• Preparing tenders, proposals, and quotations.
• Recording and maintaining client contact data.
• Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
• Negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with clients.
• Reviewing cost and sales performance to meet financial targets.
• Writing reports and developing sales literature.
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how our products meet client needs.
• Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
• Conducting market research to analyze industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Collaborating with internal technical teams for customized solutions.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance for water treatment solutions within the food and beverage sector.
• Coordinating after-sales service and troubleshooting for installed systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the water treatment or chemical sector.
• Strong technical understanding of water treatment processes and chemicals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for client visits and business development activities.
