Roles & Responsibilities of Sales Promoters – Mobile & Home Appliance (Oman)
1. Product Promotion & Demonstration
Actively promote mobile phones, tablets, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and other appliances to potential customers.
Explain product features, specifications, and benefits in a clear and persuasive manner.
Demonstrate usage of appliances and mobile gadgets to create customer interest and confidence.
2. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
Greet and approach walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand customer needs and guide them to suitable products.
Build rapport and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat sales and referrals.
3. Sales Achievement
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Upsell and cross-sell complementary products, accessories, or extended warranties.
Report sales figures and daily performance to the supervisor or sales manager.
4. Product Knowledge & Market Awareness
Stay updated on latest mobile and appliance models, features, pricing, and competitors' offerings.
Attend training sessions from brands and distributors to enhance product knowledge.
Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences and market trends
Candidate Requirements – Sales Promoter (Mobile & Home Appliances)
#Language Skills
Must be well-spoken in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual preferred – Fluency in Arabic or other regional languages (Ur an added advantage.
#Experience & Industry Background
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales or promotion of mobile phones, electronics, or home appliances in retail, distribution, or showroom settings.
Strong knowledge of major brands (e.g., Samsung, LG, Huawei, Sony, TCL, Whirlpool, etc.) and product specifications.
#Educational Qualification
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Electronics, or a related field.
#Sales & Technical Skills
Proven ability to explain technical product features and close sales effectively.
Capable of working under pressure to meet targets and KPIs.
#Personality & Professionalism
Presentable, customer-oriented, and confident.
Energetic, motivated, and a proactive team player.
