Position Title: Scaffolder
Department: Construction / Maintenance
Reporting To: Site Supervisor / Project Manager
Location: UAE (Onshore / Offshore Projects)
Job Summary
The Scaffolder is responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling temporary scaffolding structures to support workers and materials during construction, maintenance, and repair projects. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
Scaffolder – Duties & Responsibilities
Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures as per project requirements.
Ensure scaffolding is safely installed and secured according to site safety standards.
Inspect scaffolding components such as tubes, boards, couplers, and fittings before use.
Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting scaffolding materials at the worksite.
Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor, Foreman, or Safety Officer.
Maintain scaffolding equipment and ensure proper storage after use.
Install guardrails, toe boards, ladders, and safety barriers as required.
Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
Identify and report damaged or unsafe scaffolding materials immediately.
Work safely at heights while using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
