The Scaffolding Inspector is responsible for carrying out comprehensive scaffold inspections and producing detailed reports in accordance with legal and safety requirements at our Sohar fabrication yard. You will lead the scaffold crew, managing and regulating all scaffold modifications while ensuring timely execution of erection and dismantling activities. Key duties include planning and estimating scaffold schedules and resource requirements for various structures, including towers, hanging, and cantilever scaffolds. You will maintain the site scaffold register and liaise with Contract Managers and Site Supervisors to address and resolve any technical or safety issues, ensuring full compliance with offshore EPC standards.

Applicants must hold a Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any Bachelor’s Degree. You must have between 7 to 15 years of experience specifically within the Oil & Gas, Offshore Fabrication, or EPC sectors. A valid CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolder's Record Scheme) certification is mandatory. The successful candidate must have extensive experience with tube and coupler scaffolding and be proficient in managing complex structures like cantilever and hanging scaffolds. Strong leadership skills to direct a crew and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Hindi are essential for this role.
