Job Description:
View Emirates Sports Club LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (preferably male applicants) responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll management. The candidate should also have experience in managing a team and processing staff salaries efficiently. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors.
Perform budgeting and forecasting activities, providing guidance and support to other departments.
Monitor and analyse monthly variances in financial performance, providing explanations and recommendations to management.
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting transactions.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including filings.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of external audit schedules and coordinate audit activities with auditors.
Manage and mentor accounting staff, ensuring smooth salary execution and team performance.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards.
Salary: AED 10,000 per month

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software, preferably XERO.
Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Regulations, and Inventory Management.
Experience in managing a team and handling staff salaries efficiently.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work with high accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
