Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and take ownership of the accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE accounting standards and regulations, and the ability to organize and streamline the accounting system to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Experience as an Accountant in jewelry factories or companies is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Organize, implement, and maintain robust accounting systems and processes.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for management.
Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure accurate payroll management and statutory compliance (VAT, Corporate Tax, etc.)
Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and other external parties as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred).
5–7 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, labor laws, and financial regulations.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and integrity in financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience as an Accountant in jewelry factories or companies is highly preferred.
