About the Role
A leading Water Treatment company in Sharjah is looking for an experienced and motivated
Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth across water and wastewater treatment
solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing a
strong sales pipeline, understanding customer requirements, and leading client engagements
from initial discussions and technical presentations through negotiation and successful closure.
The role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a customer
focused approach. The candidate will also work closely with the Engineering, Procurement, and
Service teams to ensure smooth project execution and after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in line with company plans and generate new
business through multiple sales channels.
2. Identify and develop new opportunities for water and wastewater treatment solutions
and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
3. Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions based on
project needs.
4. Conduct client meetings, presentations, technical discussions, negotiations, and
produ demonstrations.
5. Participate in exhibitions, industry events, promotional activities, and other business
development initiatives.
6. Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Service teams to ensure
successful project execution, smooth handovers, and effective after-sales support.
7. Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor sales activities and pipeline progress, and
provide regular reports to senior management.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
9. Conduct regular client meetings and project visits across the UAE.
10. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the
water treatment industry.
Ideal Candidate
• 3–5 years of experience in project sales, preferably within the water treatment,
wastewater treatment or related engineering industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to translate customer requirements into
practical solutions.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UAE for client meetings and project visits.
• A valid UAE driving license required
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to develop leads, manage
opportunities and close projects.
