A Smart Metering AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) and MDM (Meter Data Management) Expert leads the design, deployment, and integration of smart meters, Head-End Systems (HES), and MDM software. They ensure data integrity, system performance, and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
1.System Design & Integration: Architect and integrate MDM solutions with AMI components, HES, and communication networks (RF, GPRS, PLC).
2.Operational Management: Oversee M deployment, configuration, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and Go-Live.
3.Data Validation & Analytics: Monitor daily meter reads, ensuring accuracy for billing cycles, analyzing load profiles, and managing exception reports.
4.Technical Compliance: Ensure compliance with technical standards (BIS, IEC) and regulatory frameworks.
Vendor & Field Coordination: Manage relationships with meter manufacturers and vendors to resolve field issues (tamper, communication, faulty meters)
