The Sourcing and Proposal Executive will play a critical role in sourcing high-quality products at competitive prices and preparing comprehensive proposals for clients. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the Industrial, Oil & Gas, Engineering, and MEP sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Sourcing and Procurement:
oIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery time.
oEstablish and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
oConduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and emerging suppliers.
oEnsure timely procurement of products to meet client requirements.
oMaintain a database of suppliers and products.
2.Proposal Preparation:
oCollaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and project scopes.
oPrepare detailed and competitive proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and technical specifications.
oEnsure that all proposals comply with company standards and client expectations.
oReview and revise proposals based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.
oMaintain records of all proposals and follow up on their status.
3.Communication and Coordination:
oWork closely with the sales, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless operations.
oCommunicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on proposals.
oAddress any issues or concerns raised by clients or suppliers promptly and professionally.
4.Doentation and Reporting:
oPrepare and maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, proposals, and supplier agreements.
oGenerate regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, and proposal success rates.
oEnsure compliance with all regulatory and company policies regarding sourcing and procurement.
Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
•Experience: Minimum of 1to 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or proposal preparation, preferably within the industrial, oil & gas, engineering, or MEP sectors.
•Skills:
oStrong negotiation and communication skills.
oExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
oProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
oFamiliarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
oAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
oAttention to detail and strong organizational skills.
