The Assistant Teacher supports the lead teacher in delivering quality education and care to students. This role involves assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, and student supervision to ensure a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in preparing and implementing lesson plans.
Support students individually and in groups to facilitate learning.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and field trips.
Assist in assessing and monitoring students’ progress.
Manage classroom materials and resources.
Communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns (as guided by the lead teacher).
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development programs.
Support students with special needs under guidance.
