Job Overview
MetaApplyIE is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead – Direct Sales to drive our inside sales function and accelerate student engagement. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sales leadership, team management, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. This role involves strategizing, executing, and optimizing sales processes to ensure high conversions and exceptional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and motivate the inside sales team to meet and exceed student enrollment targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals.
Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and performance coaching to the team.
Monitor sales metrics and performance dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
Increase student enrollments by improving lead conversion rates and optimizing sales funnels.
Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth lead flow and process alignment.
Handle escalations, resolve customer issues, and ensure seamless student application experience.
Ensure efficient CRM usage and accurate doentation of all sales activities.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best practices to maintain a strong market position.


Requirements
5+ years of inside sales experience, ideally in education, edtech, or study-abroad domains.
Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams.
Strong understanding of lead generation, conversion strategy, and pipeline management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational optimization skills.
Ability to train, motivate, and develop sales professionals.
