About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Unreal Engine Developer to join our team in creating immersive, historically inspired environments and interactive experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Unreal Engine and C++, with a deep appreciation for history and storytelling. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and bringing to life 3D scenes, environments, and mechanics that authentically capture historical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement gameplay systems and mechanics using Unreal Engine 5.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C++ and collaborate with Blueprints where necessary.
Work closely with artists, historians, and designers to ensure accuracy and authenticity in visual and interactive elements.
Optimize performance for PC.
Troubleshoot and debug code to maintain stability and performance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Unreal Engine 5.
Proficient in C++ (C familiarity is a plus).
Strong understanding of 3D environments, lighting, and real-time rendering.
A love for history, architecture, and cultural storytelling.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Ability to work on-site with the development and research teams.
Preferred:
Experience in simulation, reconstruction, or educational projects.
Background or interest in archaeology, world history, or cultural heritage.
