One of our reputed clients from Saudi Arabia is looking to hire an experienced Welding Inspector to join their growing team. Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Review of supplier W.
Preparing the weld map summary and submit it for customer / client approval.
Performing the necessary correction and revisions in the welding procedures when there are any comments from customer.
Conducting the new procedure qualification, welder qualification inline with ARAMCO specifications
Reviewing of welding report, PWHT reports
Performing Welding & NDE inspection as and when required
Coordinating with TPI for witnessing the activities as per ITP
Maintaining the welding records
Performing necessary updates in S
Technical Skills Required:
Solid understanding of welding procedures (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and WPQ.
Experience in preparing, reviewing, and revising weld map summaries for custom approval.
Ability to perform corrections and updates to welding procedures based on customer comments.
Hands-on experience conducting procedure qualification tests and welder qualification as per ARAMCO standards.
Knowledge of reviewing welding reports and PWHT reports.
Practical welding and NDE inspection skills.
Experience coordinating with Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies for witnessing activities as per ITP.
Proficient in maintaining accurate welding records and doentation.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with clients, TPI, and internal teams.
Ability to work systematically under safety and quality standards.
Problem-solving mindset for addressing welding issues and customer feedback.
System Skills:
Familiarity with SAP or similar systems for doentation and record updates.
Capable of updating and managing welding records efficiently.
Qualifications:
Relevant certifications in welding inspection, welding procedures, or related fields.
Knowledge of ARAMCO specifications and standards.
