The Ayurveda Doctor will be responsible for diagnosing patients using Ayurvedic principles and providing holistic treatment through Ayurvedic medicines, therapies, diet, and lifestyle guidance. The role requires compliance with D licensing regulations and adherence to clinic policies and ethical medical practices.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed patient consultations and assessments based on Ayurvedic principles (Prakriti, Vikriti, Dosha analysis).
Diagnose health conditions and prepare individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe Ayurvedic medicines, therapies, Panchakarma procedures, and wellness programs.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
Provide dietary, lifestyle, and preventive healthcare advice.
Maintain accurate patient medical records and treatment doentation.
Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.
Comply with D regulations, clinic policies, and medical ethics.
Coordinate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
Participate in health awareness programs, wellness camps, and patient education initiatives when required.
Handle patient queries and complaints professionally and empathetically.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ayurveda (BAMS / MD Ayurveda) from a recognized institution.
Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in Ayurveda (clinic or hospital setting preferred).
Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic diagnostics, medicines, and therapies.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
Willingness to work flexible hours as per clinic requirements.
