Install, assemble, and maintain chilled water piping systems as per mechanical drawings and project specifications.
Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and machines.
Connect pipes using suitable methods such as grooved joints, welded joints, or flanged connections.
Support and align piping to ensure proper slope, fit, and leak-free connections.
Coordinate with the supervisor and other mechanical teams for proper routing and installation.
Perform pressure testing and flushing of the piping network before insulation.
Follow all safety regulations and maintain tools in good condition.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in chilled water pipe fitting in HVAC or MEP projects.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and isometric diagrams.
Knowledge of different pipe materials (GI, MS, HDPE, etc.) and fittings.
Familiarity with grooving, threading, and welding equipment.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and confined spaces.
Trade certificate or ITI in Mechanical / Plumbing is preferred.
