Civil Engineer – General
Detail-oriented Civil Engineer with experience in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects. Skilled in preparing technical drawings, cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations. Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as roads, buildings, bridges, drainage systems, and utilities.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical reports.
Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies.
Ensure projects comply with design standards, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and local codes.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and government authorities.
Monitor project progress, quality, and costs; resolve technical issues on-site.
Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and material evaluations.
Review contractor submissions, method statements, and shop drawings.
Ensure health, safety, and quality control procedures are followed.
Provide technical support and prepare progress and completion reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural principles.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Knowledge of loc construction standards and codes.
