AIP is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join its team.
Analysing financial data, creating models, and preparing reports to guide investment and strategic decisions for companies or clients, focusing on evaluating performance, forecasting trends, assessing investments, and providing actionable recommendations to management or stakeholders, often including budgeting, cost analysis, and ensuring financial health. Key tasks include studying economic conditions, examining financial statements, building projections, and presenting findings to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
•Financial Analysis: Evaluate historical and current financial data, ratios (like EPS, ROE), and metrics to identify trends and performance issues.
•Financial Modeling: Develop complex models for forecasting, valuation, and scenario planning.
•Reporting & Presentations: Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations for management, investors, or clients.
•Investment Support: Recommend specific investments or portfolios (stocks, bonds) and assess their viability.
•Strategic Guidance: Advise businesses on financial strategy, capital expenditures, and cost-cutting measures.
•Research: Study economic trends, industry developments, and competitor performance.
•Collaboration: Work with other departments (marketing, operations) to align financial plans with business goals.
Typical Duties:
•Analyze company financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
•Create budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
•Perform cost-benefit analyses for funding decisions.
•Maintain and update financial databases.
•Ensure confidentiality of financial information.
Skills & Qualifications:
•Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
•Proficiency in Excel and financial software.
•Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
•Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
•Understanding of accounting principles and financial markets.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting / economi
