Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair our fleet of heavy machinery. You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.) operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication).
Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures using diagnostic tools.
Repairs: Repair or replace broken parts such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, and cylinders.
Weldi minor welding and structural repairs when necessary.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Technical Requirements
Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience working with brands like CAT, Komatsu, or Volvo.
Hydraulics: Deep understanding of high-pressure hydraulic systems.
Engines: Expertise in diesel engine overhaul and tuning.
