Job Responsibilities:
Technical Drawing Preparation:
Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings for sheet metal, structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components.
Prepare fabrication drawings based on client specifications, engineering sketches, and design concepts.
Develop shop drawings and assembly drawings with all required dimensions, tolerances, and material specs.
Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.
Bill of Materials (BOM):
Generate detailed BOMs from drawings to support procurement and production.
Ensure accuracy in material specifications and quantities.
Site & Client Coordination:
Coordinate with site teams for dimensional verifications and installation drawings.
Attend site visits when required to take measurements or resolve technical issues.
Ensure drawings are compliant with UAE construction and metal fabrication standards.
Revisions & As-Built Drawings:
Revise drawings based on client feedback or design changes.
Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor for drafting.
Doentation & File Management:
Maintain proper filing systems for all drawings and revisions.
Ensure all doents are backed up and properly labeled for future reference.
