Job Title: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE — Full-time
About Us
Established Automobile trading company in Dubai specializing in impo of vehicles. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full sets of accounting records (AP, AR, GL) and post journal entries
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and intercompany balances
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
- Manage VAT filings, reconciliation and compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Process payroll and related statutory contributions (if required)
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, account analysis and accruals
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting and cost control initiatives
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and prepare schedules for such audits
- Ensure internal controls and finance process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- C or UAE-recognized accounting qualification preferred
5 - 10 years accounting experience, preferably in tradi or FMCG
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and local compliance requirements
- Proficient in E ( Tally, Zoho and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good English communication skills; Arabic is a plus
