Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in construction and fit-out projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be registered with Dubai Municipality (DM) and the UAE Society of Engineers, with a minimum of 8 years of UAE experience. The role requires strong technical expertise, site execution capability, and the ability to manage projects independently while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all civil engineering aspects of construction and fit-out projects from inception to completion
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, approvals, and inspection requirements
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution
Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility
Monitor site progress, quality control, and adherence to project timelines
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues proactively
Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings
Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings and standards
Liaise with authorities for approvals, inspections, and project close-outs
Manage project doentation and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)
Support procurement and cost control by verifying quantities and materials
Lead and guide site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
Minimum 8 years of experience in Dubai, preferably in construction a interior fit-out projects
Mandatory registration with Dubai Municipality (DM)
Valid membership with UAE Society of Engineers
Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, codes, and approval processes
Proven experience in handling authority approvals and inspections
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools
Valid UAE Driving License (preferred)
Preferred Profile
Experience in high-end residential or luxury villa projects
Background in both civil construction and interior fit-out execution
Strong coordination skills with MEP and design teams
Ability to handle client-facing roles confidently
