We are seeking a skilled Shuttering Carpenter to construct, install, and dismantle formwork and temporary structures used to support concrete during construction. The role requires precision, technical knowledge, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct, assemble, and install formwork (shuttering) for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls, and foundations
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials for shuttering
Ensure formwork is properly aligned, leveled, and secured before concrete pouring
Dismantle formwork safely after concrete has set
Repair and maintain shuttering materials and tools
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades
Follow all site safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
