The Site Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising on-site aluminum and glazing works to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise on-site aluminum installation works, including curtain walls, doors, windows, cladding, partitions, skylights, and glazing systems.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications before execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors regarding site activities and project requirements.
• Ensure installation works are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress to ensure timely project completion.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support to site teams.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for management.
• Coordinate material delivery, manpower allocation, and site resources.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress and technical matters.
• Monitor quality control procedures and rectify non-conformance issues when required.
