Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager with strong technical expertise in device repairs who can build, manage, and scale repair operations end-to-end.

This is not a desk-only role. You must understand repairs deeply and be comfortable working closely with technicians, vendors, and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities
Repair Operations

Oversee end-to-end repair lifecycle (intake diagnosis repair QC delivery)

Ensure adherence to repair SOPs, QC standards, and TATs

Troubleshoot complex repair escalations (iPhone, Samsung, Android, laptops preferred)

Technician Onboarding & Management

Onboard, train, and certify technicians (“Gadgets Heroes”)

Evaluate technician skill levels and assign jobs accordingly

Build performance metrics (repair success rate, rework %, turnaround time)

Vendor & Marketplace Management

Manage repair partners (“GR Outposts”) across locations

Standardize pricing, spare parts usage, and service quality

Coordinate spare parts flow and inventory tracking

Customer Experience & Team Coordination

Work closely with customer service to resolve escalations

Ensure transparent communication on repair status

Reduce repeat complaints and improve customer trust

Process & Scale

Improve workflows, automation readiness, and doentation

Prepare operations for scale (higher volumes, multi-city readiness)

Support platform training and adoption (Zoho / internal tools)


Candidate Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have

Strong technical repair background (phones, tablets, laptops)

Prior experience managing repair centers or service operations

Ability to train and audit technicians

Comfortable with process building & SOPs

Leadership mindset with execution focus

Good to Have

Experience in marketplace or multi-vendor models

Exposure to QC frameworks and spare part management

Experience in U repair ecosystem

disciplined operations background is a plus
