At ECC, we believe good lighting design is design leadership, not an afterthought bolted on at the end of a project. We're looking for someone who believes the same thing — that the technical work (the calculations, the BOQs, the compliance doents) is in service of that bigger idea, not the point of the job in itself.
How we do it
We don't win projects by being the cheapest quote in the pile. We win them by showing up with real design thinking — value-engineered solutions, technically airtight submittals, and the judgment to know where a project can be elevated without blowing the budget. That means working shoulder to shoulder with consultants and contractors from concept through site execution, not just responding to tenders.
What you'll do
•Prepare lighting design proposals using design software and AI generation tools
•Perform lighting calculations and ensure compliance with project standards
•Prepare quotations, BOQs, technical submittals, and compliance doents
•Review project drawings and specifications
•Provide value-engineered lighting solutions
•Coordinate directly with consultants, contractors, clients, and suppliers
•Attend technical meetings and site visits as required
•Support the sales team with technical presentations and product selection
What you bring
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
•2–5 years of experience in lighting design or pre-sales
•Proficiency in Dialux Evo, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or equivalent tools
•Working knowledge of lighting standards and UAE project requirements
•Strong technical, communication, and doentation skills
•Valid UAE driving license preferred
