Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Technical Apprentice to join our automation team. The successful candidate will receive practical training and gain hands-on experience in PLC programming, industrial control systems, troubleshooting, and commissioning, with a focus on Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLCs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with Controller PLC programming and troubleshooting using Allen-Bradley CompactLogix.
Learn to use Designer software.
Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
Assist with H configuration and industrial communication networks.
Support control panel wiring, testing, and equipment integration.
Follow industrial safety procedures and technical doentation.
Work alongside experienced automation engineers on projects and maintenance activities.
Requirements
Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
Basic understanding of PLCs, electrical circuits, and industrial control systems.
Familiarity with Allen-Bradley CompactLogix or Studio 5000 is an advantage.
Willingness to learn, troubleshoot, and work hands-on.
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
