AJEETS Management & Manpower Consultancy is urgently hiring an experienced Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Technician for an opportunity in Oman. The role involves calibrating UT equipment, inspecting welds, castings, forgings, structural components, and piping, evaluating defects according to applicable codes, and preparing inspection reports. a. Mandatory ASNT Level II – UT certification.
b. Experience in ultrasonic testing and inspection.
c. Experience interpreting AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 codes.
d. Experience inspecting butt welds and TKY joints.
e. Ability to set up and calibrate UT equipment according to approved procedures.
f. Ability to evaluate and classify discontinuities according to applicable codes and standards.
g. Ability to prepare accurate inspection reports and doentation.
h. PCN Level II UT certifications (3.1 / 3.2 / 3.8 / 3.9) are preferred.
