Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare 2D layouts, detailed drawings, and 3D interior designs.
Design wardrobes, kitchens, wooden doors, TV units, wall cladding, and custom furniture.
Take site measurements and prepare accurate drawings.
Select suitable materials, finishes, colours, and accessories.
Prepare material lists, cutting lists, and production drawings.
Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and design preferences.
Prepare quotations and material estimates in coordination with the estimation team.
Coordinate with the workshop, carpenters, and installation team to ensure proper execution.
Conduct site visits and monitor installation progress when required.
Revise designs according to client feedback and project requirements.
Ensure quality standards and project deadlines are met.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar design software.
Experience in 2D drawings, 3D modelling, and rendering.
Knowledge of joinery, woodworking, wardrobes, kitchens, furniture, and interior finishes.
Ability to read technical drawings and understand site measurements.
Good communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
UAE interior design or joinery industry experience is preferred.
Salary
